Why Join the Orange Art Association?
The OAA is an organization where Artists get together to share their art, learn from each other and have fun in the process. Dedicated board members are forever coming up with new ways for the artists to get more exposure.
Benefits of becoming a member:
Learning Opportunities: Learn from demonstrations by an invited Guest Artist at each meeting. Get educated on all types of media from these experienced artists and teachers. Great news…you get all of these benefits for only $35.00 per year!
Monthly Newsletter: You will receive an OAA Newsletter each month meetings are held. The newsletter features the ‘Artist of the Month’, upcoming events, member accomplishments, tips of the trade and websites to check out. It also reviews the previous meeting and its award winners.
Monthly Competition: As a member, you may bring your artwork (up to two pieces) to our monthly meeting and enter our members’ only competition. There are several categories including: Novice/Intermediate and Advanced; for watercolor, oil, acrylics, photos, 3D, pastels, and mixed media. First, second, third and honorable mention ribbons are awarded and points are accumulated for each artist. Who knows…you could be ‘Artist of the Year’. View the monthly competition guidelines.
Art Programs: Participation in the ‘Rotating Art’ program where member’s art is displayed and sold at local venues.
Networking: Opportunities to socialize with other artists, learn from each other, be inspired. It’s a great networking opportunity.
