Pallete Knife Oil Painting
Our featured demonstrator in June will be Award winning and multitalented in many media, contemporary artist Mike Major.
He will be demonstrating his approach to pallet knife oil landscape painting.
Currently he is on track to finish one palette knife oil painting a day for 100 days.

This month’s guest demo artist will be Southern California Plein Air Painters president, Steve Sandborg.

Color Wisdom
April featured talented watercolor artist and former gallery owner, Judy Schroeder. She demonstrated color wisdom from her friend Millard Sheets, specifically use of and mixing of greens.

Plein Air Painting
This month’s guest demo artist is Andrew Cortez, a figurative plein air painter.
He’ll be using flat color gouache paint and show how ro achieve maximum impact on small piece.

February 9th, 7:30pm – John Dillon
Landscape in Acrylic
This month we will be featuring multi-talented fine artist and animator John Dillon. He will be presenting his approach to landscape using acrylic, by layering steps with a watercolor approach, followed by a thick 3/4 to 1” brush for quick block in, no cleaning brush between colors, then go to detail and layering to finish. For his day job, John is a professional animator, working on the Simpsons series.
