The Orange Art Association was fortunate to have Erich Neubert, a plein air and landscape oil painter conduct a combined mini-class / demo at this month’s member meeting. If you aren’t a member yet, be sure to check out our membership page to learn more about joining the association.
Erich captivated the members with his stories and humor throughout the demonstration and was open to answering questions. He offered many tips about depth, darks and lights, composition, and other things he thinks about while he’s painting.
One thing that’s unique about this artist is that Erich is color blind (red and green) and has found a way to work with colors to create a cohesive color palette for his landscape masterpieces.
You can follow Erich on Facebook at Erich Neubert Fine Art.
We’re so thankful that Erich was able to spend time with our members and share a little bit of his painting magic.
